MY APPROACH

An integrative approach to counselling

The approach Louis uses in his work is integrative counselling. This is a bespoke approach tailored to meet the needs of each individual.

He believes that every individual is unique and that no single approach can meet everyone’s needs. His integrative approach therefore draws on different counselling modalities, including person-centred therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic approaches.

Louis works collaboratively with clients, providing a space where they can explore their experiences, reconnect with themselves and develop greater confidence.

COUNSELLING AT CHARIS

A safe and non-judgemental space

Counselling provides a safe space where you can talk openly and explore what you are experiencing. The client leads the process and is supported to make their own choices and develop a better understanding of themselves.

The aim is not to give advice or tell you what to do, but to help you connect with your thoughts, feelings and emotions, build self-esteem and confidence, and discover coping strategies and tools that may help you move forward.

Ready to take the next step?

If you are considering counselling, we are here to provide a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly and explore what you are experiencing.
